At Urban Youth Park, we’re passionate about providing top-quality class programs for our students to learn the fundamentals of parkour, free-running, and the skills they need to move confidently through obstacle courses and more. Our programs offer a wide range of benefits to children and teens of all ages and even adults in our Teenage and Adult Class! Class Program Details

  • Trials, drop-ins, & make-ups must be scheduled online before attending class.

  • Membership fee includes 10-15% off camps

  • We offer a 10% sibling discount

  • Ask about our active military/service 10% discount

  • Makeups are allowed within a 3-month period and the student has to still be enrolled 

  • Students enrolled in class must be on a billing cycle

  • Trial classes are $15 for FL or $20 for CA

  • Classes from mini through level 7 are one hour long and consist of a 15-minute dynamic warmup and stretch with two 20-minute rotations. The last 5 minutes are for a structured activity or open gym.

  • Homeschool Classes include an additional 30 minutes of open gym to ensure they get proper exercise and time to socialize with other homeschool friends.

  • All of our classes run on an eight week program. The first six weeks are for learning different focus areas and skill sets. Week seven is a review week, and week eight is our assessment week. During the final week, students are given the opportunity to move up to the next level!

  • Billing runs on a four week schedule. If you sign up mid-session, classes are automatically prorated. Makeups are allowed if you are on active autopay and must be completed within a month. Makeups can be scheduled through our front desk or scheduled through your online account. If you cancel your enrollment, your makeup classes are also canceled. If a makeup class is scheduled and you don’t show up, the class automatically counts as attended.

  • Cancellations for the following session must be received by the 20th of the current month or you will be held responsible for the following month payment.

Parkour Classes

Ages 6+ Yrs

Students learn to move through their environment efficiently & stylishly during this hour-long class. The six main areas of the class include jumps, vault, walls, bars, free-running and ukemi. At first, students will develop strength and balance as well as learn proper technique. As students progress through the levels, they build courage and confidence as well as learn a variety of parkour skills on, off, and over obstacles. 

Levels 1-2

LVL 1 Parkour: Foundations

In Level 1, students will build FOUNDATIONS for their parkour journeys. In this engaging introductory class, students will learn the basics of movement. Each session is designed to keep students highly active with the opportunity to foster friendships.

Progression: Typically, students complete 1-2 sessions before passing to Level 2.

Ages 6+

LVL 2 parkour: Elements

In Level 2, students will assemble the necessary ELEMENTS that make up the core of great parkour athletes. Students will delve deeper into the foundations of parkour technique. Students will improve full body strength and control in this class, where they leave each time eagar for more!

Progression: Typically, students complete 2-3 sessions before passing to Level 3.

Ages 6+

Levels 3-4

LVL 3 parkour: Accelerate

In Level 3, students will ACCELERATE their parkour journeys into high gear! Students will now wear shoes as their training now takes them up to higher harder surfaces. This energetic class focuses on building confidence and body control, setting the stage for further growth in their parkour journey.

Progression: Typically, students complete 3-4 sessions before passing to Level 4.

Ages 6+

LVL 4 parkour: Elevate

In Level 4, students will ELEVATE their skills & mindsets! They will embrace difficult challenges with determination and form mental strength. Students experience the true joy in pushing themselves physically & mentally, learning that they can achieve anything if not more than what they see other people achieve.

Progression: Typically, students complete 4-5 sessions before passing to Level 5.

Ages 8+

Levels 5-7

LVL 5 parkour: Integrate

In Level 5, students will INTEGRATE their strength, knowledge, and discipline to perform parkour at an advanced level. With a solid foundation established, participants will commit to challenges tailored to their skills and mindset, learning to navigate the complexities of being a high-level athlete. This stage fosters adaptability and resilience, empowering students to push their limits and explore new possibilities.

Progression: Typically, students complete several years of training before passing to Level 6.

Ages 8+

LVL 7: dominate

In Level 7, students will DOMINATE the parkour game. These athletes have mastered their minds and bodies while redifining what is possible. These athletes lead and inspire others through their groundbreaking movements & work ethic. Their influence extends beyond their own accomplishments, as they elevate the entire parkour community, fostering a culture of growth, resilience, and innovation.

Progression: Typically, students complete several years of training before passing the Parkour Program.

Ages 10+

LVL 6 Parkour: Innovate

In Level 6, students will INNOVATE by combining their diverse skillset with a style of movement unique to each athlete. With the massive level of commitment and great amount of trial and error to reach this point, students now have the freedom to bend the traditional rules of the parkour. They begin to uncover their true potential, that can only emerge from a deep understanding of sport and themselves. Creativity is key.

Progression: Typically, students complete several years of training before passing to Level 7.

Ages 10+

Mini Ninjas

Train like your favorite ninja warriors during this hour-long class! Become fast like lightning, daring and quick to get across the obstacles. Mini Ninjas will train on the same course as the Ninja kids, and the obstacles are adjusted to fit their small but mighty size.

Flips and Tricks

Ages 6-14 Yrs

Students learn to flip and twist through their environment during this hour-long class. The main areas of the class include trampoline, jumps, vaults, walls, bars, drop, & floor. This is a beginner-friendly class, too! At first, students will be developing strength and balance as well as learning rolls, body shapes, and how to bail before learning to flip. As students progress through the levels, they learn how to do a variety of flips & tricks off, on, and over obstacles. This is a fantastic class to supplement with a parkour class or to help your competition athlete with their style runs.

Teenage and Adult

Ages 14+ Yrs

(Florida Location Only) Parents, join your kids to learn these awesome new skills together! We teach you and your teen the foundations of parkour, ninja warrior skills, basic tumbling, and full-body strength integration. All skill levels are encouraged, and modifications for all can be made!

Competition Team

Go head to head and test your Skills, Speed, and Freestyle with our competitive parkour teams! We have two teams, one each for the two states we operate in. The SEPKC and the WCPKC seasons both run from January through June, so if you’re interested during the off-season, speak to your coach about tryouts and joining our team.

Homeschool Parkour

Ages 6-14 Yrs

Students will acquire social skills, develop meaningful friendships, and become parkour pros in the process. This class is 60 minutes of instruction plus 30 min of supervised Open Gym. The 6 main areas of the class include jumps, vault, walls, bars, free-running and ukemi. At first, students will be developing strength and balance as well as learning proper technique. As students progress through the levels, they will build courage and confidence as well as learn how to do a variety of parkour skills, on, and over obstacles. We are proud vendors of Blue Ridge & Excel Charter School.
